Events: Mid-Hudson Valley Weekend Cooking Workshops with Corinne

Join Corinne Trang, award-winning Asian cookbook author and chef, for a fun weekend cooking workshop and lively discussions about Asian ingredients, food, and culture. This summer enjoy the outdoors, while cooking and sampling some of Asia’s exotic grilled specialties and salads: Vietnamese lemongrass shrimp; Cambodian garlic-pepper chicken; Thai green papaya salad, Vietnamese table salad with nuoc cham dipping sauce; Indian flatbreads, chutneys, Chinese sticky rice in bamboo leaves, and much more. OUR ALL-INCLUSIVE WEEKEND GETAWAY

Enjoy a 2-night stay at The Arbor Bed & Breakfast (includes full breakfast); one or two 3-hour Asian cooking workshops followed by a sit-down lunch with Corinne.

One 3-hour cooking workshop costs (Saturday workshop only with 2 night stay): Couples: $750 (shared bath), $850 (private bath)

Two 3-hour cooking workshop costs (Saturday and Sunday workshops with 2 night stay): Couples: $850 (shared bath), $950 (private bath)

Receive a 5% discount off total cost when you book a group of 8 persons (2 per room) for two 3-hour workshops. These weekends are ideal for relaxing getaways, birthday celebrations, bachelor or bachelorette parties, and wedding rehearsal parties for example.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

A 45-minute massage (shiatsu, Swedish, deep tissue) by licensed professional can be scheduled at the time of booking for an additional $75. Saturday evening yoga can also be scheduled for $75 per hour or less depending on the number of students.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE

Friday: Arrive at your leisure. Check-in at the Arbor B&B starts at 2 PM (early or late check-in can be arranged). 5:00 PM Join Corinne and Nancy at the Arbor for wine and hors-d’oeuvres.

Saturday: 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM breakfast at the Arbor; 10 AM to 1:30 PM cooking workshop and lunch; the rest of the afternoon is yours.

Sunday: 7:00 AM or 8:30 AM breakfast at the Arbor; 10 AM to 1:30 PM cooking workshop and lunch; (check out at your leisure, morning or afternoon)

ABOUT THE ARBOR B&B

Located in the heart of historic High Falls, NY (Mid-Hudson River Valley), the Arbor is known for its charming and serene atmosphere, luxurious linens (each of the four rooms has a queen size bed), and full gourmet breakfasts complete with baked breads, eggs, fruits, juices, coffee and teas, prepared by owner Nancy Greenwald.

Enjoy shopping/antiquing, the D&H Canal Museum, and restaurants. Also close by are the Mohonk Mountain House and Preserve for long peaceful walks or challenging hikes; the historic stone
house villages of Huguenot (New Paltz); and West Hurley; and the Ashokan Reservoir (New York’s
largest) where you can enjoy peaceful walks while sightseeing the mountains
