Based on Eastern food philosophies and practices including Indian Ayurveda and the Chinese hot and cold food system, my holistic health and nutrition counseling method is a process that facilitates healthy, sustainable behavioral change through proper nutrition, challenging the client to develop his/her inner wisdom, transforming goals into action. Food and mood are related. For this reason, I approach any health condition by looking deeply into eating patterns. From there, I will inform, educate, support and guide you as you achieve short-term and long-term goals. Together we will identify behavioral patterns and help you make the necessary adjustments toward enjoying a healthy lifestyle.


My certifications, collaborations with other health professionals, and on-going research in the field of holistic health and nutrition, keep me informed so I can work more efficiently and effectively with clients from different walks of life, giving them the tools that best address their conditions and needs.


During a typical session, I ask questions relative to lifestyle, including personal and professional, and determine your constitution (dosha). I discuss with you any health condition and concerns. Together we develop the best course of action to redress imbalance. It is teamwork to ensure that you are actively involved in the decision making, a key to your success. During follow-up sessions, you will build the confidence to push further ahead still, taking pleasure in the change you see and feel. We will discuss physical activity to include in your health and wellness regimen.
